Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge celebrating International Women’s Day

March 8 is International Women’s Day and the Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge is recognizing the contributions of women at Perkins Rowe on Friday night. 

The Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge said, “during this celebration, we will honor women in the community who have been the first in their industries.”

The event is taking place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. 

According to the Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge, “International Women’s Day, is celebrated on March 8th, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.”

If you would like to attend Friday night’s event, visit WCGBR and submit a $25 registration fee.

This is the 25th year that the Women’s Council of Greater Baton Rouge has been in existence.
