Local parish starts to reopen, ending coronavirus lockdown


ST. FRANCISVILLE, La (WVLA/WGMB) — Businesses in West Feliciana Parish are preparing to get as close to normal as possible by preparing to re-open their doors.

West Feliciana Parish businesses are preparing a reopening after the Parish President announced he’d loosen current stay-at-home restrictions because of their smaller COVID-19 case count.

On Thursday, Governor John Bel Edwards expressed concerns.

Both LaSalle and East Feliciana Parishes are also preparing to begin opening up some stores, Friday.
