BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A well known local restaurant is shutting its doors temporarily for a couple of reasons.
Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge made this decision due to staff shortages and an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
This sign was posted on the door of the restaurant.
This comes four days after the local restaurant posted this message on Facebook:
Announcement: Tsunami Baton Rouge is currently, and may continue to be, severely understaffed for the foreseeable future. Therefore, until we are able to hire, train, and retain proper staffing levels, we will only be able to offer dinner service in a limited capacity; including a limited menu, extended service times, and possibly the inability to accommodate diners without reservations. Our team is working very hard to remedy our situation. We hope to be close to full strength as soon as possible and we thank you in advance for your patience.
Tsunami Sushi Baton Rouge is located at 100 Lafayette St.
