BATON ROUGE, La (WVLA/WGMB)– Foot traffic hasn’t slowed much at hospitality industries in Baton Rouge, but some small business owners say they’re starting to feel the economic squeeze as Coronavirus hits Louisiana.
This comes as college students are being sent home for the semester.
The absence of Southern and LSU students during this pandemic could cost some Baton Rouge businesses thousands in revenue.
The Small Business Administration announced some guidelines this week for small business owners who are affected by Covid-19.
They say the’ll work with state agencies in order to provide low-interest disaster recovery loans to places that are severely impacted.
