LOCATED: Baker PD confirms autistic 34-year-old man has been found

BAKER, La. (BRPROUD) –

UPDATE:

The Baker Police Department says, “Jason Wayne Nettles has been located and is safe and well.”

ORIGINAL:

34-year-old Jason Wayne Nettles has not been seen since Saturday, June 27.

Nettles was last seen wearing a “multi-colored short sleeve shirt & blue jeans,” according to the Baker Police Department.

The missing man has health issues and is autistic.

Nettles has medications that need to be taken and they have not been over the last few days.

Nettles is described this way:

  • White male
  • Height: 6’1
  • Weight: 230 pounds
  • Hair: Brown
  • Eyes: Brown

Baker PD says, “Nettles was last seen walking east on Groom Rd. near the intersection of Plank Rd.”

The missing man has not lived in this area for very long and family members do not know where Nettles could have gone.
