BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A popular road trip game is to count how many cars are different colors, but what is the most popular car color in Louisiana?
A study conducted by iSeeCars.com looked at the most popular used car colors from 2018 and compared them to 2023 to see if there were any changes. According to the study, white, black, gray and silver were the most popular colors in 2018 and in 2023.
Car colors including orange, purple, beige, gold and yellow were ranked at the bottom for least popular colors.
The study said that white is the most popular car color in Louisiana with 29.0% and blue is the most popular non-grayscale color with 7.5%. White, black and gray are the most popular car colors in Baton Rouge, the study said.
White was the most popular color in 40 states and black was the most popular in the other 10 states.
