ARABI, La. (BRPROUD) – “Bracee_yourself,” this story might hurt a little bit.

28-year-old Aireon Davis is behind bars after the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office asked the public to help find the Arabi woman one week ago.

Davis was wanted for practicing orthodontics without a license.

The 28-year-old is facing the charges listed below:

  • Two counts of practicing dentistry without a license

Last month, Sheriff Pohlmann said, “detectives with the Criminal Investigations Bureau received a complaint from the parent of a 15-year-old female who said Davis put braces on their child’s teeth without their consent and charged her a fee.’

The following investigation led authorities to find out where the illegal orthodontics activity took place.

According to the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office, “Davis was advertising the illegal orthodontic business on Instagram under the account “bracee_yourself,” and running it out of her apartment.”

A search of Davis’ apartment uncovered dentistry tools and supplies.

The investigation remains open and if anyone else has information that could help investigators in this case, please call the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office at (504) 271-2501 or the Criminal Investigations Bureau at (504) 271-TIPS or 8477.
