BATON ROUGE, LA (LOCAL33) (FOX44) – One local business woman is helping shape the future of the capital city.

Devin Lemoine is a local business woman.

“I look at them and I’m like what are you trying to do, where are you trying to go? And my job is to work with them and strategize that,” Lemoine said.

Lemoine is the Owner/President of Success Labs, a local consultant company.

“We help companies grow leaders, build teams and drive results through great people strategy.”

She’s also a mother.

“Part of the reason way I got into consulting was looking at these 3 babies, and saying is there a way to do good work and also be a good parent and be present,” Lemoine said.

She’s managed it all very well.

” Having 3 babies at once definitely changes everything you think about work and career.”

She was born in raised right here in the capital city.

“The fun part is growing up here, being here, working with people early in their career and growing kinda together.”

And today she’s helping shape the community that shaped her.

“It’s very connected. And that, I think, is the fun part of growing up somewhere, having a business here, working with people here, is having those connections, and seeing people’s success and being apart of that success.”

With each new client she is a building our community’s next leaders.

“We work pretty intimately with leaders and emerging leaders to make sure they are getting where they need to get, in order to add value to the organization, but also build their own career.”

She was named one of Baton Rouge’s Influential Women in Business in 201, and a LSU 100 Recipient, just to name a few.

In the end, she said it’s the impact on the community that makes her career a success.

“Just going out there hopefully very, very focused on the person in front of me, the organization in front of me, how can I help you be successful? And I think if that’s the focus I really get the most fun out of watching other people get going to where they need to go.”
