LSP release photo of alleged Grambling shooter nicknamed “Rabbit”

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Louisiana State Police (LSP) has released a photo of the suspect believed to be involved with a shooting at Grambling State University that occurred on Wednesday, Oct. 13.

Jatavious Carroll, a.k.a “Rabbit” “is still wanted for his involvement” in the deadly shooting.

Carroll is facing these charges:

  • Second degree murder
  • Attempted Second Degree Murder
  • Possessing a weapon/firearm on school property

A second shooting took place on campus Sunday morning.

One person was killed and seven others were injured in the shooting.

Classes are scheduled to resume on Wednesday, October 20.
