LSU fans say, the atmosphere during “Beat Bama” week is unlike any other football weekend

“Everyone is posting about it, everyone is talking about it.”

LSU student, Kaylee Pattillo said, there’s one reason she chose to attend LSU.

“I’m an out of state student and I came to school here for football.”

She said, the atmosphere during “Beat Bama” week is unlike any other college football weekend.

“You can just feel it when the week starts everyone is just so pumped” said Pattillo.

Friday night, the Tigers basketball team tipped off their season opener and still, football is the talk of the town.

“I wish I was going to the game.”

Preston Barron said, he’s cheering for all tiger sports but he’s ready to see the tigers beat the tide.

“I hear roll tide, I think you got to bleep that out, um, not a fan of that phrase” said Barron.

All around town, everyone is echoing Barron’s message. Even the littlest tiger fans are getting in on the smack talk.

“Anything else you want to say, wish the players luck” Yeah, just beat Bama” said Tyler Williams.

While some tiger fans took the high road, trading in the smack talk for a cheer.

“L-S-U” said Cate Williams.

Pattillo said, she’s wearing her “Beat Bama” shirt because her message is loud and clear.

“LSU all the way, Geaux Tigers.”
