BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — LSU students will be returning to class a little later on Monday, Sept. 25.

The university said classes will start at 10:30 a.m. after a power outage forced a delay in the start time. According to LSU, employees should report to work at 10 a.m.

The power outage has forced one school to close. The LSU Lab School said, “Due to the power outage, school has been cancelled. Classes will resume tomorrow.”

According to Entergy, “There was a brief outage this morning and the campus is back with power. Circumstances of the outage are still being investigated.”
