BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD)- Louisiana State University chemical engineering Professor Kalliat T. Valsaraj and his colleagues have been researching the link between transmission of the coronavirus and air pollution.
Valsaraj found in his new study, “Our work shows that air quality exacerbates the susceptibility of affected populations that are already immuno-compromised due to inhalation exposure,” Valsaraj said.
