BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33)(FOX 44)- For the rest of the day it’s business as usual at LSU. Students are focusing on midterms and ending the semester on a high note. But the minute the clock strikes on Kessler Morris’ last class, his mind goes elsewhere.
“I think coach o is going to have the team ready. I know we’re a 21 point favorite and I think that we should cover that,” Morris said.
Morris is a member of the LSU’s student government. They’ve revived an old annual tradition to bus LSU students to and from one away game. This year they settled on Ole Miss, and since the Alabama game the students are pumped up for Saturday. SGA assistant athletic director, Christian Mann, says he confident in the Tigers.
“All around LSU is going to bring all the fire and fury. Joe burrows going to lead us to another victory. Ole Miss doesn’t know what’s coming for them,” Mann said.
Over a hundred students got the chance to ride along with the rest of the student government, excited for what comes next.
“LSU needs to keep doing what they’re doing. Clyde’s gonna throw the ball, joe burrow’s going to catch it. We’re going to be alright,” Morris said.
