LSU students head back to campus for Fall semester

News

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) — Members of the LSU community including students are returning for the Fall semester on Monday.

This semester is unlike any other for students whose classes begin at 7:30 a.m.

Welcome to the ‘new normal,’ according to LSU President, William F. Tate IV.

The school year is starting in-person despite the concerns of LSU faculty.

If you are attending LSU this semester and have not been vaccinated, the university is requiring that you get tested for COVID-19 every month.

The university plans to keep track of the coronavirus through the COVID-19 Reporting Dashboard.

In a bid to keep the university as healthy as possible, LSU is asking that employees and students to fill out the Daily Symptom Checker.
