Tiger fans competed in this year’s race in partnership with LSU Athletics

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) – Friends, families, and supporters cheered on 4,000 runners in the Louisiana State University (LSU) 4th annual Our Lady of the Lake Tiger 10K and Billy Cannon 5K race Sunday.

The misty morning did not slow down runners—the release states as they crossed into the 50-yard line around scenic lakes, and into the Tiger Stadium finishing the race in Death Valley.

LSU mascot, Mike the Tiger, and the LSU Cheerleaders met runners at the starting line to get them excited for the scenic run around and through campus.

These are the early runners who completed the Tiger 10K race; according to the news release.

Male 10K Winners:
• 1st – Connor Augustine, 18, Baton Rouge, LA, 35:09.58
• 2nd – Dominic Maley, 26, Metairie, LA, 35:43.31
• 3rd – Zach Mesplay, 23, Southfield MI, 36:10.91

Female 10K Winners:
• 1st – Courtney Broussard, 25, Arnaudville, LA, 38:42.70
• 2nd – Riley Ries, 17, Baton Rouge, LA 43:10.75
• 3rd – Ava Pitarro, 16, Walker, LA, 46:08.6

Male 5K Winners:
• 1st – Daniel Forman, 36, Baton Rouge LA, 17:00.33
• 2nd – William Decuir, 13, Baton Rouge, LA, 18:43.32
• 3rd – Gómez Rodrigo, 34, Hammond, LA, 18:53.76

Female 5K Winners:
• 1st – Isabella Legarth, 15, Geismar, LA, 21:52.39
• 2nd – Erikka Wishom, 38, Baton Rouge, LA, 22:29.61
• 3rd – Cate Williamson, 14, St. Gabriel, LA, 23:07.81
