BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- Lieutenant Governor Billy Nungesser and the Lousiana Office of Cultural Development Division of the Arts, has announced a new platform called Culturalyst that’s designed to bridge the gap between artists and cultural communities in Louisiana. The news was announced in a press release on Tuesday, Nov. 2.

Culturalyst is a software company based in New Orleans. The website offers a slew of opportunities for artists and community members to collaborate, including access to events across Louisiana.

According to the press release, once artists signup, they can also learn about search engine optimization to build a professional portfolio website, access to gig opportunities, residencies and more.

“When it comes to arts and culture that Feed Your Soul, Louisiana is second to none. Our diverse culture and amazing artists are a huge draw for people when they visit our state,” said Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser.

” We encourage artists from across Louisiana to utilize this new digital opportunity. It’s a platform to share their work and reach new people not just in Louisiana, but across the country and the world, to show them the value of what it means to be a Louisiana artist,” he added.
