BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Love a good play on words and cooking? The Main Library at Goodwood is set to host the second annual Edible Book Festival.
The Edible Book festival is a celebration of books, food, and puns held at 2 p.m. on April Fools’ Day.
Participants are invited to create an edible concoction based on the wordplay of a book’s title. Onlookers will vote on favorite categories such as Best in Show, Wittiest Wordplay, Least Appetizing, and more. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.
To submit an entry for the festival, bring your edible creation to the Library at 1 p.m. to be displayed.
