BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – As of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19 the Mall of Louisiana is back open.
The shopping mall is providing a list of the stores that are currently open.
Anyone who returns to the mall on Tuesday will see that all of the seating is gone or roped off.
Patrons can buy food but there is no where to sit and eat.
The phone charging stations are not available and the mall has made sanitizer stations available to everyone.
The Mall of Louisiana released this statement about the reopening of the shopping mall:
Following Governor Edwards’ order announcing the reopening of certain retail stores, Mall of Louisiana will reopen on Tuesday, May 19th. The mall will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday and from noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
New measures have been implemented to help ensure the health and safety for all who enter the mall, including hand-sanitizing stations, touch-free interactions, frequent and intense cleanings and social distancing directions. We are working diligently to provide a safe, clean environment where people feel comfortable shopping, dining and enjoying their time.
