QUEEN CREEK, Ariz. (BRPROUD) – Deputies with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office were called to an urgent care clinic on November 14.
The clinic told deputies that a “6-year-old child tested positive for a sexually transmitted disease,” according to the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office.
An investigation ensued including an interview with the alleged victim.
The child stated she was the victim of a sexual assault by her father’s roommate.
The 6-year-old identified 26-year-old Jacob Sullivan as the perpetrator.
The 26-year-old was arrested on December 21.
Sullivan is currently in the Pinal County Jail facing three counts of sexual conduct with a minor.
Bond is set at $103,343 for Jacob Sullivan.
“Getting this sexual predator off the streets was our number one priority. I am pleased with our Detectives for making quick work of this suspect,” said Sheriff Mark Lamb. “I pray that the victim in this case finds comfort and healing. We stand with her and all victims of abuse. We are here for you.”
