Man arrested in connection with arson fire last month

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 37-year-old Antonio Jackson is behind bars facing one count of Aggravated Arson.

Jackson was arrested on Saturday by Baton Rouge Fire Department Investigators.

According to the Baton Rouge Fire Department, “Jackson is accused of lighting a vehicle on fire at 4162 North Foster in the Super Stop Shop Parking lot.”

Super Stop Shop did sustain some damage prior to the fire being put out by firefighters.

The fire took place on June 25.

BRPD Uniform Patrol assisted with the arrest of Antonio Jackson.

Jackson is currently in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Bond for Antonio Jackson is set at $21, 000.
