BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a man who was found dead Monday afternoon.
According to police, around 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a call in the 8900 block of Old Hammond Highway where a man was found in a canal. Police say the man was lying face down in a canal behind a BREC park.
No more details about the identity of the man or the investigation were released.
