EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) – When driving down by the riverfront and in neighborhoods in Evansville, you may see a man rolling a huge tire with an all true message painted on the side, “Cancer Sucks”.

That man’s name is DeAndre Wilson and he is rolling the tire in honor of his late father who passed away from liver cancer a little over three years ago.

Wilson says he has had great support from the community and even gives support back by listening to others as they share their stories with him.

Wilson will be rolling on through, summer, fall, winter, and spring and doesn’t plan on stopping any time soon.

As he is rolling his tire through town, Wilson says he can feel his father with him the en-TIRE time.

Eyewitness News’ Kelly Austin caught up with Wilson down by the riverfront and got to hear his touching and inspiring story.
