Man taken into custody amid North Flannery arson investigation


Baton Rouge Fire Department investigators arrested a man Tuesday amid an investigation stemming from a September 23 house fire at 5499 N. Flannery Road in Baton Rouge.

Charles Fendley, 31, was taken into custody in Lafayette before being booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on simple arson.

The arrest was done with assistance from the Baton Rouge Area Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Sherriff’s Office.
