Mayor Sharon Weston-Broome will conduct an assessment on what recovery means to residents ahead of the capital city’s All-Hazards Recovery Plan unveiling on Wednesday.
City leaders determined a need for a parish-wide recovery plan following the aftermath of the August 2016 floods.
We’re told Mayor Broome first voiced her intent to develop and adopt a rehabilitation system for East Baton Rouge Parish during her deliverance at this year’s state of the city address.
Residents are encouraged to come share their opinions, as they will contribute to the development of a framework for future recovery efforts.
