BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Moderna COVID-19 vaccine will be offered for free Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at IDEA Innovation School, located at 7800 Innovation Park Drive in Baton Rouge.

The school is partnering with the St. George Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal’s Office to offer vaccines to people age 16 and older.

Vaccines will be given inside the school, so weather will not inhibit the event. Participants must wear face coverings.

The second dose will be administered in four to six weeks.
