More than 3,500 runners, joggers and walkers are set to participate in the Tiger 10k Sunday, and the run will bring them past historic LSU landmarks.

Participants will pass the University Lakes, Sorority Row, the Parade Grounds, the Bell Tower and the Indian Mounds, according to Michael Wattigny of FRESHJUNKIE Racing, which is putting on the event in conjunction with Louisiana State University Tiger Athletics.

The 6.2-mile run will end near Tiger Stadium, and after completing it, participants will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal that features a Mike the Tiger logo.

Food will be provided by Walk-Ons, Playa Bowls, Izzo’s Illegal Burrito, RandIsle’s Catering, Curbside Burgers, TJ RIbs and Kolache Kitchen, and beverages will be provided by Mockler Budweiser and Coca Cola of Baton Rouge.

There will also be music from Jonathan Long, according to Wattigny.
