Movie theater is reopening in Baton Rouge!

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A popular missed activity is returning to Baton Rouge.

Locals can go see a movie again soon.

Cinemark Perkins Rowe and XD on 10000 Perkins Rowe is reopening to the public on August 14.

The theater will show “Comeback Classic” films with ticket and concessions reduced down to “Welcome Back” prices.

Tickets will cost $5 dollars for adults and $3 dollars for children and seniors. 

Cinemark Perkins Rowe is also offering a more personal experience by being able to book a private watch party. The private party will be limited to 20 guests starting at $99.

Tickets go on sale August 7 at www.cinemark.com.

According to Cinemark, the company has provided the theater with training and enforced proper sanitation in order to reopen while the city remains under Phase 2.
