BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – An “armed and dangerous” man was taken into custody on Wednesday, Nov. 1.

Daniel White, 37, was wanted in connection with a shooting that took the life of Leticia Elliott, 39. According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, ” Elliott was shot by White during a domestic incident on October 29, 2023 in the 3100 block of Jackson Avenue.” She passed away on the day after the shooting.

White was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Wednesday, Nov. 1 and charged with second-degree murder. As of the publishing of this article, no bond has been set for White.
