Myles Brennan, girlfriend create fundraiser in response to Bobby Hebert Sr.’s COVID-19 related death

LSU quarterback Myles Brennan and his girlfriend, Erin Hebert, created a fundraiser for the Ochsner Clinic Foundation after Hebert’s grandfather, former quarterback and sportscaster Bobby Hebert Sr., died from COVID-19 complications.

“Erin and Myles decided that the donating the money they raise to Ochsner Clinic Foundation for COVID-19 Relief was the perfect way to honor Bobby Sr.,” the GoFundMe’s description reads. “Ochsner Health has always taken such great care of Bobby Sr.’s medical needs. He was so trusting of the medical professionals at Ochsner.”

Bobby Hebert died on Saturday, March 28 at Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner. The Oschner Clinic Foundation is “an organization that meant so much to Poppa Bobby,” according to the fundraiser description.

Brennan and Erin Hebert created the fundraiser on Friday, April 3, and it exceeded its $15,000 goal in just over a week.
