Mystic Krewe of Mutts celebrating Mardi Gras with virtual parade, pet costume contest benefiting CAAWS

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD) The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society is celebrating Mardi Gras this year with a virtual parade and pet costume contest, with all proceeds benefitting the local animal care non-profit.

Details about this year’s virtual celebration are below:

  • All participants must be pre-registered by January 25, 2021. No in person or late registration will be accepted
  • Once registration is confirmed, you will receive the link to upload your parade video or contest photo within three business days.  It is the participant’s responsibility to check their spam folder if the email with the link has not been received.
  • Pre-recorded videos and photos must be received by January 30, 2021.
  • Groups (including NPO’s, Vendors, and Sponsors) may register their own Krewes to be part of the parade
  • Floats, signs, banners allowed & encouraged
  • No Add-Ons or changes are allowed after registration is received
  • All species are welcome to participate virtually by sending a pre-recorded video.
  • All photos and videos must be family friendly.
  • Purchases are non-refundable.
  • The go live date is February 13, 2021 on the CAAWS You Tube Channel
  • Violation of these terms and conditions will result in your entry being disqualified, and no refund will be issued.
