The American Heart Association is reminding you to slow down and reduce stress to help promote a heart healthy lifestyle.
For National Relaxation Day (Aug 15th), the American Heart Association is trying to spread the word about how important it is to take time to relax to relieve stress.
According to The American Heart Association, “stress can affect your mental and physical health in so many ways. Long-term activation of your body’s stress response system may put you at risk for health problems. Luckily, small changes to reduce stress and relax are easy to try.”
