BREAKING: Former Minneapolis officer Derek Chauvin sentenced to 22.5 years in prison

BATON ROUGE, La (BRPROUD)- Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been sentenced to 22.5 years in prison on Second Degree murder charge in the death of George Floyd.

Chauvin was convicted in April of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
