NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU) — The New Orleans Saints are offering season ticket holders the option to opt out of their 2020 season tickets.

According to a letter sent to season ticket holders on Friday, multiple options were given regarding what to do with their tickets for the 2020 season.

Restrictions because of the coronavirus could cause all NFL franchises to limit the number of people in a stadium to keep players, coaches and fans safe.

Ticketholders can opt out of their tickets, which will not affect their 2021-season tickets, or get a refund for the 2020 season.

Those who choose to roll over their tickets or cancel their tickets for the 2020 season will still have their tickets secured for the 2021 season, according to the letter.

The New Orleans Saints’ first home game is scheduled for Sept. 13 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
