NOPD searching for woman who has been missing over a week

NEW ORLEANS, La. (WDSU) —

The New Orleans Police Department is searching for a woman who has been missing over a week.

A relative of Mirna Rios reported that on Sept. 24 at about 9p.m., she and Rios had a verbal altercation.

After the argument, Rios left the residence and has not been seen or heard from since, according to the police report.

Rios is described as a Hispanic female standing about 5 feet tall and weighing about 190 pounds.

She was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a pink shirt.

Anyone with additional information on this incident is asked to contact NOPD Second District detectives at 504-658-6020.
