BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — With 2023 swiftly approaching, Baton Rouge city officials provide fun activities for those who are planning on celebrating.

Chief Communications Officer for the City of Baton Rouge, Mark Armstrong, says from morning to midnight the city will be celebrating.

“We’ve got events going on throughout the day tomorrow starting at around 11:00 a.m.,” stated Armstrong. “There’s going to be a sing-a-long, the rising of the red stick, which is going to drop at midnight of course, and then at 8:00 p.m. kicking off the events that evening, we’re going to have all sorts of live music. Then there’s going to be fireworks right at midnight.”

The Red Stick Revelry is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. The event will be held on Davis Rhorer Plaza and North Boulevard Town Square at 8:00 P.M. December 31st.
