Heroes wear many capes during the coronavirus pandemic.
Truck drivers, EMS, police, grocery store workers and medical personnel are just some of those that are wearing capes during these unusual times.
One medical worker who has experienced what it is like to help those with COVID-19 and to survive the virus is the mother of Dutchtown High School football player, Riley Lawrence.
Lawrence said this about his amazing mother on Twitter:
This is my mom Madonna. A cardiac RN @ OLOL. She volunteered on the Covid unit and after exposure tested +. She kicked Covid’s ass and tonite went back to work, on the Covid unit. Toughest person I know. @LSUfootball @DutchtownFB pic.twitter.com/KGtaolMk8T

Thank you to all of our medical workers on the front lines, including Riley’s mother.
