BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A Louisiana woman was arrested after a vehicle search uncovered drugs.

Nicole Cash, 21, of Pride, was taken into custody by an officer with the Central Police Department.

That officer was on patrol over the weekend at the Blackwater Conservation Area.

The officer spotted a Toyota Tundra that Cash and one other person were inside of with the vehicle lights off.

After approaching the vehicle, the officer noticed “smoke and a strong odor of marijuana” emanating from the vehicle.

The driver handed over seven grams of suspected marijuana.

A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered the items listed below:

  • Mask used for smoking marijuana
  • Grinder and rolling papers
  • Two pills later identified as Adderall

The driver was given a summons and released while Cash was arrested and taken to the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

Cash remains behind bars on the charges listed below:

  • Trespassing on BREC Parks
  • Possession of Schedule II

Bond has not been set for Nicole Cash.
