One-day basketball clinic featuring LSU greats coming to BR next month

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Hometown Heroes for Youth Basketball Clinic is happening on Saturday, July 24 from 9 a.m. to noon.

BREC is hosting the event at their Sports Academy and kids between 5th and 12th grade can attend this event.

Check out the list of former LSU greats who are scheduled to be at the Hometown Heroes for Youth Basketball Clinic:

Howard Carter – LSU Men’s Basketball (1980-83)

According to BREC, “this clinic will teach basketball fundamentals and improve on current skills while also focusing on the importance of being a team player and having the dedication and drive to be a better player throughout their athletic experience.”
