BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Baton Rouge Police Department was called to a reported shooting early Monday morning.

The shooting took place in the 5000 block of Alvin Dark Ave. at approximately 2 a.m.

BRPD confirms that one person was shot and the injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
