BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A weeks-long investigation ended with the seizure of drugs and guns in Baton Rouge. Joshua Skal, 33, was taken into custody on Wednesday, October 3 in connection with this drug bust, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. EBRSO said Skal, “was identified as a Baton Rouge area polydrug distributor.”

A search of the home belonging to Skal uncovered drugs, guns, ammunition and a gas mask, according to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office. A list of what was seized including two stolen firearms is provided below:

Skal was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Wednesday and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II (fentanyl), possession with intent to distribute schedule II (cocaine) possession with intent to distribute schedule I (marijuana), possession of a firearm with drugs and possession of a stolen firearm.
