If you would like a way to help those who are in the path of Hurricane Florence, consider participating in this event.
Parker’s Pharmacy is hosting a Hurricane Florence Donation Day on Saturday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Baton Rouge pharmacy is “asking members of the community to take part in this day by donating items that will be desperately needed in the impacted areas during the aftermath of the storm.”
Parker’s Pharmacy is working with Camp Cedar Cliff in Asheville, North Carolina to help get donated items to those in need.
Parker’s Pharmacy provided a list of donations that will be accepted on Saturday:
- Nonperishable Food
- Personal hygiene items
- Feminine products
- Blankets (new)
- First aid kits
- Games/books(children activities)
- Monetary donations
- Gas gift cards
The local pharmacy said they “are also asking for those with the ability to transport items to volunteer to help get the donations to Camp Cedar Cliff.”
