Patient Plus Urgent Care opened its newest clinic Monday in Prairieville, which is the first clinic of its kind outside of the Baton Rouge area.
The community is invited to celebrate the clinic’s grand opening on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at 17513 Old Jefferson Highway across from Oak Grove Primary School.
“We are excited to expand to Prairieville and open our fifth urgent care clinic,” Patient Plus Chief Executive Officer Rubin Patel said. “This is the second clinic we’ve opened this year and we look forward to growing and serving new communities through our convenient neighborhood locations.”
The Prairieville clinic, which spans more than 2,300 square feet, will be open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will welcome patients on a walk-in basis.
The clinic treats minor illnesses and injuries from sniffles and fevers to aches and breaks. It accepts patients with conditions not severe enough to prompt an emergency room visit, and it offers diagnostic services such as X-rays, flu and strep tests, EKGs and drug screenings.
The clinic accepts most major insurances, and a list of accepted insurance plans can be found at http://patientplusuc.com/insurance/.
Patients can check in online at http://patientplusuc.com/ to any Patient Plus clinic, all of which are professionally staffed and fully equipped to provide modern healthcare.
