BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – A female pedestrian was hit in the 5100 block of Greenwell Springs Road on Friday, Sept. 8, according to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The unidentified person was hit around 6:30 a.m. and subsequently transported to a local hospital in critical condition, according to EMS. BRPD confirmed that the woman was hit by a truck and that no one was charged in connection with this incident.
The Baton Rouge Fire Department also responded to the scene.
The investigation remains ongoing.
