Pilot injured in crop duster crash on Tuesday morning

The Pointe Coupee Sheriff Office responded to the scene of a crop duster crash a little after 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning. 

Fire officials joined the Pointe Coupee Sheriff Office at the crash scene in Morganza.

PCSO said, “the pilot was transferred to OLOL by airmed in stable condition.”

Officials are not releasing the name of the pilot at this time.

The FAA is on the way to the crash scene, according to the Pointe Coupee Sheriff Office.
