Sometimes its the smallest gestures that can mean the most. That seems to be the attitude by the Hannan Hawks…after the whistle, at least.
Chris Rabensteiner, caught by the camera on a random play in a random Friday night game, exemplifies what it means to be an Archbishop Hannan student-athlete by living by the school motto: “charity leads to perfection.”
“Chris embodies what we ask of every young man in our program,” said Hannan head football coach Scott Wattigny. “He’s definitely the most humble person [on the team].”
That’s why Chris Rabensteiner is the November winner of the LHSAA/Fox 44 “Play It Forward” Sportsperson of the Month.
