BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A 13-year-old teenager has been charged in connection to a shooting in Bossier City where his 10-year-old sister was injured after he fired a gun Thursday evening.
According to the Bossier City Police Department, the 13-year-old teen is charged with illegal discharge of a firearm and illegal possession of a handgun by a juvenile.
The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of Bobbie Street. Officers and fire department personnel say when they arrived at the scene, they found the 10-year-old girl with a gunshot wound to the leg. The child was taken to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and she is in stable condition.
