Police Chief Murphy Paul Delivers Remarks to the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge

We are more than halfway through the year and today at noon Baton Rouge Police Chief Murphy Paul is addressing the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge about crime.

On the heels of the 26th anniversary of the Community Against Drugs and Violence organization, cofounder Patricia McCallister-LeDuff reflects on how the Founding President, Sadie Roberts-Joseph’s murder. LeDuff says she is disheartened by recent senseless violence in the area. ” Since 1993 I am not seeing a lot of difference as it relates to crime.”

Sadie Roberts-Joseph is the slain civil rights activist that was found dead in the trunk of her car this summer on their outlook of violent crime in Baton Rouge.

The meeting is taking place at Boudreaux’s which is located at 2647 Government St.
