News

MILLERSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Monday, Millersville police say they found ecstasy and fentanyl inside a candy box on a neighborhood roadway.

Assistant police chief, Dustin Carr, said the discovery was made by a resident on Skyline Drive around lunchtime.

News 2 spoke to neighbor who alerted police. The man said,

“We’ve got a lot of kids in this neighborhood and I didn’t want the kids to pick it up and grab it – and maybe eat it.”

The man asked News 2 not to share his name or show his face.

Police described the shape of the drugs as “like Hello Kitty candies.” Carr said,

“I know that Robertson County Schools were out today and tomorrow, and being that school is out – there’s kids in the area that could’ve found it …and it could’ve been very bad.”

Police say the street value of the drugs is around $400 and they’ll be tested further by the TBI.

Millersville police are asking residents to review their home surveillance systems for anything suspicious.
