Police are warning the public about picking up discarded bottles.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office in Michigan says the bottles may contain methamphetamine residue and can be dangerous.
Police say if a person picks up a bottle containing meth waste, the chemicals used to make the dangerous drug could reactive and cause an explosion and fire.
If you see a two-liter bottle with a milky residue on the bottom, do not pick it up.
Immediately leave the area and contact your local police department.
