BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPRODU) — A new poll released on Tuesday shows a very tight governor’s race between one of the Republicans and the lone Democrat.

Polling company JMC has Democrat Shawn Wilson with 29 percent of the vote and Republican Attorney General Jeff Landry with 28 percent.

Congressman Garret Graves, who says he’s not running, comes in third at 12 percent while undecided sits at 22 percent.

Polling was also done in the attorney general’s race. John Belton has 13 percent, and Liz Murill with 10 percent. Undecideds in that race, make up 68 percent.
